"Probing for a lost shuttle" by Ensign T'Kang Assistant Engineer - USS Intrepid T'Kang's eyelids were growing heavy. Not out of tiredness, but out of boredom. The Klingon stopped his head from bobbing forward as his eyes blurred momentarily from staring at the engineering console on the Bridge. With the USS Intrepid in a standard orbit Frainar III, T'Kang was convinced that Chief Engineer Hannoyh had stationed him there as a form of punishment. S/he never did really like the Klingon much. "Captain" Celchu was busy pacing the Bridge. No doubt worried that the fate of the shuttle Pathfinder had not yet been determined. The Captain had ordered a probe launched to attempt to reestablish communications through the electromagnetic interference of the fierce lighting storm that the shuttle had past through. Both Shadow and Reese seemed to be expressing the same sort of nervous energy Celchu was. Reese was drumming his fingers on the Helm console while Shadow was making what could best be described as a swishing motion with his cheeks, almost as if he were gargling with mouthwash, while he read the telemetry coming back from the probe. Tensions were rising as each minute past, and still no word from the shuttle Pathfinder. Having performed the pre flight check on both shuttles, T'Kang knew that The Pathfinder was the shuttle that Lieutenant' Calenzie was on. It was commanded by Lieutenant Commander Beldin, the ship's Chief of Security, and also carried Ensign Cadan and Kytranna, though really, Nal was the only one T'Kang knew personally on the shuttle. The Klingon hoped that today was not the Lieutenant's day to die. The bridge crew waited patiently along with "Captain" Celchu for something to happen.
