"Heading for Arcadia"

*** Present, on board Bridge of USS Tempest ***

T'Kang was manning the Tactical station.  Repairs had been 
completed in record time on board the pagh.  No doubt a
tribute to the organizational skills of her acting Chief 
Operations officer, Lieutenant Emily Jean O'Malley.  The 
feisty power house of an officer had managed to coordinate 
the repair efforts of the Klingon Bird of Pray with the crews of 
both the Avalon and the Tempest in record time.   They had 
even managed to upgrade the ancient warship with a more 
advanced cloaking device similar to the one the Tempest 
used.  Now it was time to put the "rengade" plans into action.

Acting Captain Lee walked over to the command chair after 
receiving word from Lieutenant Commander Boren of the 
Avalon that they were set to proceed in meeting up with the 
Cortez.

"Helm, bring us about, and put us on the starboard side of 
the Avalon.  Lieutenant T'Kang, prepare to engage the 
cloak." Scott ordered as he sat down in the Captain's chair 
at the center of the command well.

The proper coordinates were punched into the flight control 
station by the officer minding that station as Cowan smiled 
and made some comment to the Captain that T'Kang 
couldn't quite make out.

Before the Captain could respond to the acting First Officer's 
comments, a hail came through on T'Kang's console. "Sir, 
the Avalon is hailing us." the Klingon said evenly in a deep 
monotone voice.

Lieutenant Commander Lee ordered the hail to be placed on 
the main view screen, which T'Kang was quick to 
acknowledge.

"Are we ready to go already Roger?" Scott asked as the 
image of the Avalon's Commanding Officer, Lieutenant 
Commander Roger Boren, appeared.

"The Engineers have gotten the ship warp operational.  We 
have warp 1.634 available" Boren informed with a nod.

"Understood Roger." Lee acknowledged in a somber tone.

"The Avalon will go to warp as soon as the Bird of Prey has 
it's Avalon officers aboard." Boren relayed to Lieutenant 
Commander Lee.

"Understood, they are awaiting you.  All Tempest officers are 
aboard, so, I am going to have us cloak.  Please send the 
signal when your officers are aboard."  Lee replied.

"Aye Scott, Avalon out!" Lieutenant Commander Boren 
stated before closing the channel.

The main view screen on the Tempest switched back to the 
forward view of the stars that laid before them.

A few minutes later, the word was given to engage the 
Tempest's warp engines and head towards Arcadia at warp 
1.6.   With a surge of power, and a flash of light as the 
Tempest broke the light speed barrier, all three vessels, the 
USS Avalon, USS Tempest and the Bird of Prey pagh headed
across the galaxy to meet with the USS Cortez near 
Starbase Arcadia.
