"A place to stay" by Sogh T'Kang Weapons officer - IKV Jachyoj http://come.to/tkang T'Kang's tour of station D'Alaan had lead him to the Red section in his search for Ra'wI' Kruge. The Klingon was still lugging around his duffel bag and bat'leth which he carried through the various decks of the alien space station searching for the second in command of the Jachyoj. He found his worldly possessions to be a burden to him in more ways than the mere bulk of their weight. He found it difficult to get directions from the Federation officers that would simply look at the warrior's massive form and glistening bat'leth and simply choose to walk the other way. Of course T'Kang's own sour expression and grumpy demeanor didn't help matters either. Finally, on level Red 9, T'Kang caught up with Kruge. Gaining the Ra'wl's attention, T'Kang straightened as he faced the warrior. "I am Sogh T'Kang, weapons officer of the Jachyoj." Kruge glanced at the Klingon Warrior before him with a discerning eye as he took the data padd from his hand and reviewed it quickly. "General Pi'ror sent you here I see. Well,. . ." Kruge said lowering the padd, ". . . do you plan on lugging your things all over the station T'Kang?" T'Kang glanced at the duffel bag slung over his shoulder and felt the weight of his bat'leth in his right hand. "No. I have just arrived and have not yet been assigned a place to put my things Ra'wl'." Kruge didn't seem overly impressed with the new weapons officer's reply. He took a step forward and removed the heavy fabric bag from T'Kang's grasp. Glancing around the empty Red 9 deck which was the site of the planned Klingon Barracks when the others arrived, the warrior tossed the duffel bag across the room, where it landed on one of the hard bunks against the bulkhead. "There. That will be your space T'Kang." Kruge smiled with wild eyes as he placed a brotherly arm around the weapons officer's back with a robust clap. "Now, stow that bat'leth T'Kang. The humans get nervous at the sight of a Klingon warrior casually carrying such an honorable weapon as that to a meeting of their command staff. Your things will be safe here. No one would dare tamper with the belongings of Klingon warriors." Nodding understandably, T'Kang carefully placed his bat'leth down, leaning it against the bunk Kruge had selected as belonging to T'Kang by throwing his duffel bag onto it. Turning he asked, "Then I am to accompany you to the meeting with the station's command staff Ra'wl'?" Kruge straightened. "Please, it's Kruge T'Kang. Warriors have no time for ranks except when formality is needed. Yes, come with me to meet these Federation commanders that will be responsible for the administration of this alien space station. It should prove interesting to see what Patoks Starfleet has scraped up to send to such a remote assignment so deep in Klingon space." Kruge grinned. "Then by all means, lead the way Kruge." T'Kang replied as the two warriors exited section Red 9 on their way to Red 5- 7, the CnC Briefing room where the meeting was scheduled to take place.
