"Updating Mec" by Sogh T'Kang First officer - IKV Jachyoj http://come.to/tkang T'Kang watched as Captain Mec stood and grumbled about the missing Doctor on the station. Mec wanted answers and he wanted them now. The Federation Officer even made it clear that he viewed D'Alaan station as being his station, even though it was light years away from the Federation on the edge of the Klingon Empire, deep in Klingon space. Mec's posturing made the Klingon laugh, though he didn't let the inner humor of his thoughts filter out through his scowling warrior's ridges. T'Kang was just glad the meeting had finally begun after waiting for what seemed like days. . . When Mec sat back down, T'Kang didn't hesitate to give his report. The few, sleepy eyed Federation officers around the table, none of whom T'Kang had even been introduced to yet, hesitated guessing who would be the first to speak. The Klingon warrior put that uncertainty to rest almost immediately when he stood up. "Hod Aram and the Imperial Klingon Vessel Jachyoj will be arriving early tomorrow morning. The bird of prey brings much needed supplies and a full compliment of Klingon warriors to staff the barracks on level red nine. Tumek, Roshka and Reshtarc have straightened up that deck in preparation to receive the supplies and personnel the Jachyoj brings with her. I have given them the rest of the evening off to relax on deck Blue 99." T'Kang explained in his deep, no nonsense voice. "I have spoken to General Pi'ror, who apologizes for the sudden change and delay of the Jachyoj. HoD K'sara was unavoidably delayed with business elsewhere and had to be replaced as commander of that vessel." the warrior explained. T'Kang chose to keep to himself who Aram was, the illegitimate son of the traitor Duras. With the disappearances around the station and Kruge's mysterious death, there was no sense in shaking things up further by announcing Aram was the son of an admitted Romulan conspirator. "Other than that, there is no further news to report. . ." T'Kang stated looking at Captain Mec with a suspicious eye, "Other than Ra'wI' Kruge's murderer is still unknown as is the cause of death and what poison was used to kill him. . ." T'Kang then sat back down and yielded the meeting to the next Federation officer that had the courage to speak.
