"Rescued crewmen, alien computers" by Sogh T'Kang First officer - IKV Jachyoj http://come.to/tkang The stranded Starfleet officers and Klingons that were trapped in the pit of D'Alaan station were transported out. The beautiful, attractive and often silent Lieutenant Jane Stanton had used the USS Yeager's transporters to rescue the missing officers. Doctor Teril began to examine those that were injured from the 20 meter fall into the open corridor pit. Captain Mec, in all the excitement, seemed bored and began to walk off. "Where do you suppose the Captain is going?" Counselor Reese asked from where she stood with T'Kang on the opposite side of the pit. T'Kang shook his Klingon head. "I do not know. But I intend to find out." Arianna was still dressed in her jogging outfit and holding both a phaser and tricorder as T'Kang began to turn to circle the corridor to the other side where the Captain and the others were standing. "You go on T'Kang. I will stay here and look over the crew with Doctor Teril. I'm sure this whole ordeal has been mentally taxing on them all. A word with a Counselor could do them the world of good." T'Kang just soured his expression at the Counselor. It was obvious the warrior was more interested in what the Captain was up to than the mental well being of a few drunken officers without the good sense to avoid falling into a pit. Rudely he walked away, going around the corridor to catch up with Mec. On his way, Lieutenant Stanton transported into the corridor from the USS Yeager. "What's up T'Kang?" Jane asked. T'Kang shook his head, "I do not know, the Captain walked this way. I am going now to see what he is up to." "I'll join you then." Stanton smiled. She was glad the Captain trusted her enough to beam out the crew members from the pit. He could have asked anyone to do it, but she was glad that Mec chose her. It boosted her confidence greatly. Entering a massive room, both T'Kang and Stanton stood in awe, looking at a large, multi-story cylinder that was over 40 stories tall. Captain Mec, who evidently circled the structure, called out asking about computer skills. Lieutenant Stanton was quick to volunteer, and soon found herself in front of a very alien looking computer interface. "This must be a computer core of some kind." T'Kang declared still sizing up the shear mass of the column. "It's incredible!" "If you are correct, it must hold trillions of gigaquads of data in it's memory banks." Captain Mec agreed. Lieutenant Stanton continued to try and figure out the alien controls. They were unlike anything she'd ever worked with at Starfleet Academy. Definitely a far cry from LCARS terminals. Each control had an alien looking hieroglyphic symbol of unknown meaning upon it. It was obvious though that the Computer system was active and working however. "It's going to take some time to figure out how these controls work Captain. This language is unfamiliar to anything I've ever seen before. It's ancient." Mec nodded, still taking in the magnificence of the huge structure's size. While examining the alien data tower that seemed to disappear 40 stories above into the dimly lit interior of D'Alaan station, T'Kang's communication device sounded. Removing the Klingon transceiver from his belt, T'Kang flipped it open, activating it. "T'Kang here." he declared in a short, throaty tone. "This is HoD Aram of the Jachyoj. We have just entered the Tob-roj system and should be arriving at D'Alaan Station within the next twenty minutes earth time. I expect you'll be prepared to receive us. . ." came the voice of the boy commander over the open channel. "I will be ready HoD." T'Kang replied simply. "I hope so. The warriors we carry have had a long journey. They are looking forward to stretching their legs and settling in to their new posts on board that space station. Jachyoj out." The channel closed, so T'Kang snapped the sharp angled lid shut on his communicator and returned the device to his belt as he looked at the Captain. "Go on T'Kang. Stanton and I have things under control here." Mec stated. T'Kang pressed his lips together stubbornly and gave a bear- like nod before turning to leave. "Have the Jachyoj dock at airlock twelve. And T'Kang. . ." Captain Mec added gaining the Klingon's attention, "good work in locating the missing crew members." T'Kang's expression didn't change much at the Captain's praise. Instead he quietly stated, "Now if we can only determine who murdered Ra'wI Kruge I will have better news to report to my commanding officer." In silence, Captain Mec watched as the huge framed Klingon Warrior marched off to get things ready for the Bird of Prey's arrival at airlock 12.
