"Princess DevnoH" by Sogh T'Kang First officer - IKC ro'QeH http://come.to/tkang The forward view screen of the ro'QeH flashed and was replaced with the image of a beautiful, young Klingon woman. ["This is Princess DevnoH of the royal house of K'Mpec. Thank you for coming to our aid and rescuing the ta'voDleH lIgh from certain destruction. To whom do I owe my gratitude?"] HoD Aram was awe struck at DevnoH's beauty. She was young, but well educated. The way she carried herself with such self assuredness was very appealing to the bird of prey commander. But he dare not let her know he hailed from the house of Duras. She would most certainly shun him were he to tell of his traitorous family origins, and Aram didn't want to be shun by someone as lovely as Princess DevnoH. "I am Aram. HoD of the ro'QeH your highness. We were on our way to botlhlan yaH when we intercepted your distress beacon." The young warrior-captain explained. The Princess seemed as interested in the hansom HoD as he was in her. It was most unusual for someone as young as Aram to serve as commander of a Bird of Prey. Most of the Klingon Defense Force commanding officers were old, wrinkled warriors, seasoned by years of battles. To see such an attractive, virile HoD such as Aram was an unexpected treat for DevnoH. ["We are most fortunate that you were in the area HoD Aram. Please extend the gratitude of Princess DevnoH to your crew. I am in your dept. We are part of a diplomatic team of negotiators assigned to the territorial talks on lanjep. I would be grateful if you could serve as escort to the ta'voDleH lIgh and see us safely to our destination."] DevnoH asked with a slight smile. Aram didn't hesitate to answer. "It would be my honor your highness. Have your navigator set course for lanjep. The ro'QeH shall follow to your rear." ["Thank you HoD Aram. I will do as you wish. If it pleases the Commander of the ro'QeH, I would be honored if you would visit the ta'voDleH lIgh this evening and allow me to show my appreciation of your heroic deeds in saving my ship and crew from certain destruction. I shall see to it that a feast is prepared in your honor."] DevnoH asked in a wanting tone. Aram nodded. "I would be glad to attend your highness. You may tell me more of these negotiations for which you travel to lanjep to take part in, and risk such personal danger to one so beautiful as yourself." The Princess smiled at hearing Aram's subtle flirt. ["Then I will arrange it then. I will see you this evening when everything is prepared. Until then HoD Aram. . ."] "Until then your highness." Aram said with a gentlemanly bow. The channel closed and the main view screen changed back to open space once again. "Angar, lay in a course for lanjep. When the ta'voDleH lIgh heads out, match her course and speed, to the rear quarter of the Princess' ship." HoD Aram ordered. "Yes my HoD." Angar replied, tapping in the proper commands onto the navigation console. "I will continue scanning for enemy vessels my HoD." T'Kang called out, "So far no sign of enemy ships in the vicinity." Aram nodded at his First Officer. "maj" he replied with an agreeable tone. "You have the bridge T'Kang." The bear-like Klingon, T'Kang, glanced at his commanding officer as HoD Aram exited the bridge. T'Kang had noticed the way the commander was taken by the beauty of Princess DevnoH. But he was worried of what would happen when one of the royal house of K'Mpec learned that the dashing teenaged Aram was son of the dishonored Duras.
