"Akula: T'Kang" by Ensign T'Kang - Asst. Helm T'Kang reached around his back and liberally scratched his ass, tugging at his uniform to remove the material out of his cheeks in Klingon fashion. With a boisterous belch the Assistant Helm officer of the Akula made his way over to the replicator in the mess hall and deposited his empty glass still stained with the bloodwine he was partaking in. Glancing around the small mess hall of the Defiant class starship, T'Kang scratched his groin before letting out another belch as a sort of departing gift to the officers that remained. A few glanced in the Klingon's direction, but the flight officer just grinned, did an about face and exited the mess hall with the added treat of passing gas upon departure. "Must report to the bridge for Beta shift." T'Kang mumbled to himself as he took long, powerful strides down the corridor. He wore a Starfleet uniform, or what passed for it on the Akula, but in his heart he was a Klingon warrior, even if he was sent away to seek refuge in the Federation as a young boy when the House of Crass fell. "Bridge." He ordered with conviction stepping into the turbolift which immediately set the lift in motion. Several decks later the doors whisked open. T'Kang stood there, defiantly. His large forearms crossed, his face nearly brooding which was his normal expression anywhere except while enjoying fine drink and food during off time. The Klingon officer stepped off the lift and made his way towards the helm. He walked with the grace of a bull in a china shop, but was reserved enough to maintain his bodily functions while on the command center of the Akula. "I am here to relieve you." T'Kang practically barked. He sounded like it was an obligation. Like he was annoyed at having to stop his activities in the mess hall in order to serve his time as Helmsman of the Akula. Lt.jg Tye turned her head and glanced at the Ensign. In the recent weeks on the Akula, she'd grown used to this Klingon's "unrefined" manners. She didn't like them, but had become accustomed to them. "I am here it relieve you.....?" Larrisa beckoned. Through clenched teeth T'Kang filled in the missing address, "Sir. I am here to relieve you sir." the Klingon answered in obvious annoyance. Tye smiled tapping the Akula's controls before rising from the Helm station. "Better Ensign. She's all yours. We are presently standing by until we receive the signal from Captain Lakkar or Commander Storm." "Who is in command here?" T'Kang grumbled with no tact what so ever. Larrisa crossed her arms and gave the Klingon another scowling look. "Sir." he added reluctantly with another hiss through clenched teeth. Lt.jg Tye smiled. She enjoyed tormenting this baboon of an officer. Not that he was a bad pilot. On the contrary, T'Kang was one of the best flight officers she'd ever seen. It was just his manners that made people make fun of him or simply not wish to work with him at all. "Once I leave, you are. At least until Za or whoever else is scheduled for Beta shift shows up. With the present mission the whole damn schedule is messed up." Larrisa explained. T'Kang smiled ever so slightly as he glanced down at the Lieutenant. Quite a feat actually since Lt.jg Tye was herself six foot tall, but the Klingon still had a quarter of a foot advantage. "Don't get any ideas Mister." Tye warned, "I'll be available if anything major comes up, just hail. The bridge is yours T'Kang." The Klingon watched the Lieutenant make her way to the turbolift. She was an attractive woman for a human if you are into that sort of thing. Turning T'Kang sat down at the Helm station and punched in his access codes to start his duty shift. When he heard the turbolift doors close the Klingon couldn't help but smile. ****** OOC: Hi everyone. T'Kang's bio is located at http://come.to/tkang it is not yet linked to the Akula website. I hope no one is offended by a lot of scratching, belching and farting... T'Kang excels at that. :p
