Akula: "Indecisiveness" by Ensign T'Kang T'Kang growled in a low rumble as he waited at the helm of the Akula. The last of the shuttles had docked with the starship; not an easy thing to do while a vessel is cloaked mind you. The Klingon peered out the forward view screen at the belly of the Cardassian light cruiser. Lieutenant Za had brought the ship underneath the unsuspecting warship and to within optimal weapons range, but the Andorian seemed to have lost the way of the warrior over the last several minutes. T'Kang could only watch the gentle swaying of the Cardassian ship while the bridge crew waited for the Captain to arrive on the bridge. Za was not willing to commit to giving the Cardassians what they deserved. "Hegh tlhIH targh." T'Kang thought. Over his shoulder T'Kang heard the Bajoran weapons officer, Lieutenant jg Enya, make his way to his station at the rear of the bridge. The Bajoran glanced at Lieutenant Za and at T'Kang. The Klingon just curled his upper lip slightly, exposing a little more of his jagged teeth. Enya didn't seem to mind, simply taking his station and bringing weapons on-line. T'Kang didn't know very much about Enya, other than he seemed to think that Doctor Nelsy was a Cardassian spy, if for no other reason, she was a Cardassian. T'Kang didn't seem to mind much. He was pretty much convinced everyone on the ship was out to get someone or another. Caught up in his thoughts of Enya, T'Kang was surprised when the Andorian Lieutenant called out, "Oh no.....Shuttle leaving the cruiser, heading for the surface!!!" "They would not be sending a ship to surface had we acted when we had the chance." T'Kang snided, "tlhIH tlhIb targh!" he added, cursing in Klingon. Za's eyes narrowed at T'Kang's foul mouth and insubordinate tone, but no one on the bridge was surprised. "We must attack now!" T'Kang blurted out, "To wait any longer would be both foolish and cowardly..." the Klingon's eyes narrowed. Lieutenant Za glanced over to Enya at the weapons console. He appeared ready to go, and he knew the Klingon was. "They are getting out of range!" T'Kang barked. "There is no time to delay any longer..." Za look perplexed. Everyone on the bridge was waiting for the Lieutenant's next command.
